Certificate Programs: USC Price School of Public Policy
USC Price School of Public Policy offers a range of certificate programs designed to address the complex challenges faced by modern urban areas and growing populations. These interdisciplinary programs combine engineering, policy-making, planning, and project management expertise to equip students with the skills needed for innovation in transportation technology development or implementation within governmental agencies.
Prerequisites

Engineering Economy: ISE 460 or equivalent

Microeconomics: ECON 203 or equivalent

Advanced Programming Language: C or Fortran, or another high-level language
Alternatively:

Risk Analysis in Civil Engineering: CE 408 or equivalent

Engineering Statistics: ISE 225 or equivalent
-
Statistics for Policy: PPD 404x or equivalent
These prerequisites can be completed post-enrollment by taking the specified courses, subject to certn USC graduate policy constrnts.

USC students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who are already enrolled need only submit the certificate program's paperwork for enrollment.
